I tell people my current job is as a database consultant. The gory details are that I&#039;ve been working with the products from Business Objects for quite a few years but it&#039;s easier to just tell people I work with databases because they&#039;ve at least heard of that. :-P I got into phpBB in the first place because we used to have a listserv mailing list for Business Objects stuff, and the list needed to be replaced.

So I set up a phpBB board.

We have over 300K posts and over 25K users at this point, and it has been running for five years. So I think it has gone well. But as I state on the other blog I wanted a place to &quot;do my own thing&quot; related to the subject rather than just post everything on the board. And blogs are really quite easy to set up and customized when using Word Press.

Short answer, yup, that&#039;s the new site. 8)</description>
