Comments (3) It has been many long months since my last post on the Doctor Blog. One reason is that my project in “real life” went live towards the end of December, and that involved a lot of extra time. We took a family vacation. My oldest boy is in cub scouts, and both boys just started soccer. Life is busy. Good, but busy.
Lately, though, I have been digging in to the reason why some of my pages take so long to load on my largest board. Some of the findings are a bit surprising, and I plan to write them up as I go along. For now, welcome back. To me.

You are both very patient. I probably would have given up.
I have nearly finished what I envision being the last major overhaul of my big phpBB2 board. I have launched a new photography blog as well as converted one of my other web sites into blog format. I have participated in the release of the second phase of our database reporting system for a Fortune 100 company.
I spent a week in Disney World.
So it’s not like I haven’t been doing anything over the past few months… it just hasn’t been here. Thanks for the comments.
