I hope that it (the KB MOD) is updated, since I have read on more than one occasion about boards being hacked through security issues with that MOD. I always intended to write my own and never got around to it, mainly because it’s a big job. Kudos to Orynider for taking on the challenge and fixing things up.

On the subject of the template… what I have seen done in other places is the link to forumimages was replaced with a link to Daz’s user profile at phpbb.com. That, at least, is still there, and gives credit to him as the creator of the style.

I don’t think it’s a problem that Robert at phpbbusers.com has not done this. I pointed it out just as additional evidence that there is still work to be done on his site. In fact, I am going to go back and emphasize some of the text in the last paragraph to avoid giving the impression that I think his efforts are inappropriate. I think it’s great that he is at least trying to do something to support the continuation of phpBB2.

Whether ForumImages-dot-com is dead or alive at this time (or at any point in the future) is irrelevant, but please feel free to remove the hyperlink to the site and simply leave the “FI Theme” alone.

So they are de facto discontinued, even if the new forumimages is up and kicking .

I think you should make the decision yourself, without the influence of other people telling you not to, or telling you to come to their site instead.

Anyway, I’ll throw my site in, which is linked from my name, I suppose. It’s not based around phpBB discussions, but it does have support topics for my MODs I’ve released, and I don’t mind talking about phpBB in the least there.
