Well, this is what I get for skipping out of visiting phpbb.com for a while… I completely missed the announcement of Libertyvasion 2010 that came out last month. Now I have to go log in and see if there’s anything I can talk about this year. Last year I had fun pulling together a talk about board spam. I’ll have to see what I can come up with this year.
Definitely need to try to make it.

I finally logged in to phpbb.com a few weeks ago after a lengthy absence. There I found a PM waiting for me; it was an invitation to speak at Libertyvasion. I missed it.
I guess maybe I should have turned PM notification on, but as a moderator there some years back I would get too many PM’s and I got tired of the notification. I didn’t need it when I logged on every day.
Ah, well, maybe they’ll have another ‘Vasion in the future and I’ll be ready for that one.
I did watch a number of the videos posted to YouTube from the event. If you haven’t done that yourself, you should try a few.
