Subject: Where are the private messages?

Private messaging has been disabled / removed from the phpBB Doctor forums. We didn't want to use the feature, as the general purpose of this board is for support and distribution of our MODs. Support via private or personal message helps one person. Support via a forum post helps as many people as will read it.
Private / personal messages are not searchable. Forum posts are.
So rather than show the private message buttons, let you click them, and be greeted with the message, "Private messages have been disabled on this board"... well, we simply removed the code.  At this time we do not have plans to write this up as a MOD. |
